OnlyFans Agency Red Flags: 10 Warning Signs Before You Sign
Thinking about an OnlyFans agency but not sure who to trust? Good, you should be careful. There are a lot of bad agencies out there. Many creators only find a good one after a bad experience. These 10 red flags help you spot the bad ones before you sign.
1. They promise you crazy numbers
“You’ll make $100K next month.” “$80K in 3 months.” “Starting from zero? $10K guaranteed in your first month.” Lots of agencies sell you a dream like this. Then nothing happens, and they still get paid. Real growth takes work. Ask them: what happens if the numbers don’t come? If they still get paid, that’s a red flag.
2. They want money before doing any work
Setup fees, paid courses or monthly fees upfront are a big red flag. A good agency gets paid from your success, with a share of the money it helps you make. If they want money first, they take no risk. You take all of it.
3. Your money doesn’t go to your bank account
Your OnlyFans payouts should always go to your own bank account. If an agency wants your payouts sent to them, you lose control of your money. That’s a hard no.
4. The contract locks you in
Long contracts, high exit fees or rules that say your account or content belongs to the agency: walk away. An agency that does good work doesn’t need to trap you. At Modellaire, for example, you can cancel anytime.
5. You wait days for an answer
You send a message and nothing comes back for days. Nobody really listens to what you want. That’s not okay. Your agency works for you. Ask how fast they answer and how you stay in touch. At Modellaire you talk to your manager every day, mostly on WhatsApp or Telegram.
6. You get excuses instead of numbers
You ask about your earnings or your accounts and there’s always an excuse. It’s your page and your money. You have the right to know what’s going on. A good agency shows you the numbers without you having to beg.
7. There are no reports
No daily check-ins, no weekly report, no plan. Then you have no idea if the agency is doing a good job. We send every creator a report every week and stay in touch every day.
8. There’s no real company or face behind it
Check the website. Is there a real company, an address and a real person you can talk to? Do they show up at industry events? An anonymous Instagram page with no company behind it is a risk. If something goes wrong, you don’t even know who to call.
9. They can’t show real results
Anyone can post a screenshot. Real case studies show where a creator started, what was done and what came out of it. Best with the creator herself on video. Ask if you can talk to creators who work with them right now.
10. They want you to sign right away
A good agency lets you get to know them first. A free first call, a plan for your page and a trial period are good signs. At Modellaire, for example, you get a free call with a growth audit, and then we work together for a two-week trial.
What if you’re already with a bad agency?
You can switch. Your account is yours. If someone locked you out, OnlyFans support can help after checking your ID. Then talk to a new agency and check them against this list.

Frequently asked questions
How do I know if an OnlyFans agency is legit?
A real company and real people behind it, no upfront fees, your money goes to your own bank account, you can cancel anytime, and you get daily contact and weekly reports.
Should an agency have my OnlyFans login?
To chat and post for you, an agency needs access to your account. What matters is that the account and all payouts stay in your name and go to your own bank account.
What if an agency locked me out of my account?
Contact OnlyFans support directly. After they check your ID, you get full access back, even if the password or email was changed.
Is a guarantee a red flag?
Not on its own. Big promises where the agency gets paid anyway are the problem. A guarantee where the agency only gets paid if the result happens is fair.
