How Much Do OnlyFans Agencies Take? A Fair Commission Explained

The commission is usually the first thing creators ask an agency about. Makes sense. But the number alone doesn’t tell you much. What matters is what you get for it and how much ends up in your bank account.

How do OnlyFans agencies make money?

Almost all good agencies take a share of what your page makes. That’s fair, because the agency only gets paid when you do. If you make more, they make more. If you don’t, they make little.

Some agencies charge a fixed monthly fee or setup costs instead. That’s risky for you, because you pay even if the agency does nothing for you.

What’s a normal commission?

It’s very different and depends on what the agency does. An agency that plans a few posts is something totally different from one that does your marketing, chats 24/7, protects you from leaks and runs a second platform for you.

That’s why we don’t give one number for everyone at Modellaire. Our commission depends on where your page is right now, what we take off your plate and where you want to go. That can only be set honestly in a personal talk. In your free first call, we look at your situation and then tell you exactly what working together would cost. There are never any upfront fees.

What should the commission include?

Before you compare percentages, compare what you get. Ask:

  • Chatting: 24/7 or only some hours? In your style?
  • Marketing: Where do they find new fans for you? Is the plan made just for you?
  • Leaks: Do they do DMCA takedowns?
  • Other platforms: Do they run Fansly too?
  • Contact: Do you have your own manager, daily contact and weekly reports?

At Modellaire, all of this is included. That also means Fansly, which usually brings our creators 20–30% more money on top of OnlyFans.

Before or after the OnlyFans fee?

OnlyFans keeps 20% of every payment. So ask: does the agency take its share from the amount before or after that fee? With the same percentage, this can make a real difference. Get it in writing.

Is an agency worth it even with the commission?

Don’t ask “How much do I give away?”. Ask “How much do I keep?”. One example: Alex went from about $10K to $60K a month with us in 5 months. Even after the commission, that’s many times what she made before.

If an agency does very little and your income barely grows, the commission eats your profit. So first check what they do and what results they get. Then look at the number.

Signs of an unfair deal

  • They promise you crazy numbers but get paid anyway
  • Upfront fees or fixed monthly costs
  • Your money goes to the agency’s account instead of yours
  • Long contracts or fees for leaving
  • Not clear if the share is taken before or after the OnlyFans fee
  • No free first call and no trial period

Frequently asked questions

What percentage do OnlyFans agencies take?

It’s very different from agency to agency and depends on what’s included. What matters more than the number is what you get for it and whether you make more than without an agency.

Is the commission taken before or after OnlyFans’ fee?

That should be clear in your contract. OnlyFans keeps 20% of every payment. Always ask if the agency’s share is counted before or after that fee.

Are upfront fees normal?

No. Good agencies only get paid when you get paid. Modellaire has no upfront fees.

What does Modellaire cost?

There are no upfront fees. We get a fair share of the money we help you make. We go through the exact numbers in your free first call.
